Mabel, i still cant believe it. Its still hard to know we will never see your smile, the way you walked on your toes and the way we used to tease one another. You were very caring, always looking out for others, always wanting to help others. Our September meeting was hosted by you when you were obviously in pain. It now seems you were telling us goodbye but we didnt know it. At our meeting on the 7th of December we unanimously elected you as the welfare officer even though you didnt attend the meeting.(a testimony to where your passion laid). Ah Mabel we do not mourn like those that have no hope but this is so painful. When i saw you on the 21st of Nov it did not at all cross my mind that it would be the last time. Adieu oremi.
