Our hearts are indeed heavy, but who are we to question the Unquestionable, there's no doubt that Mabel touched hearts and lives, finished her race, lived her cause and a crown of glory now awaits her. Hearing the news of your passing was a shock that I hoped could turn to untrue but alas it isn't, we accept the will of your creator. I remember you as my class captain in 1D and how you took the role with so much maturity.Mabel was our Mary Onyali in school. Yes she was that good and even better! I was looking forward to her leaving school and becoming a megastar in atheletics, I guess God planned her life in a way that suited His cause. We spoke many years after school and you said you were in Stratford, couldn't link up and missed the opportunity again when I came to Nigeria and was staying so close to your house but Nigeria factors robbed me of that opportunity again. My thoughts are with your immediate family and my prayers is that God will strengthen them at this difficult time and grant them to courage to move on. And as a community of old girls of FGGC Bida we will do all we can to keep your sweet memories alive. Adieu! May your sweet soul rest at the bosom of your creator and may God watch over your children and be everything you were to them and more.
