Dear Mabel... Mabel Onwuazo...(as I will always remember you)..later Mrs Mabel Jibunoh. Very strange our paths never crossed since I left FGGC Bida in 1983, neither in Lagos, Nigeria nor here in London. Though Facebook did the honours of rekindling the connection, the never ending 'hustle and bustle of life' did not encourage constant communication. All the same, I will always remember your lovely smiling 'yellow' face... Yes..Our 'beautiful yellow babe'with such wonderful figure(and legs to 'die' for)on the race tracks... You were such an effortless, confident and agile sprinter...and won your races. Well....Our Darlyn Smiler, You have 'run your predestined race' through the 'sands of time'here 'Planet Earth' and given the 'RELAY BATON' to the Angels in Heaven at the 'Finishing line'. Dearest Mabel, keep smiling yonder in the magnificent company of fellow saints, Seraphs and Cherubims as you continue with the eternal fellowship in the presence of the Most High. Farewell sweet sister as your beautiful memories remain evergreen in the hearts of all whose path you crossed. Our ever faithful Father will surely comfort and strengthen ALL loved ones you 'reluctantly' left behind. R.I.P!
